Aura AoE effect question
I would like to know does AoE effects of multiple Auras which have AoE modifier(Haste, Vitality, Hatred, etc.) stack?
I asked couple of times on global chat and most people said "yes", but my empirical testings (used bunch of different AoE skils - from Leap Slam to Sweep) kind of point me to a conclusion that only single AoE effect modifier from Auras is applied. Can someone please clear this little dilemma of mine? Thanks! |

You mean the increased AoE bonus you get by levelling the aura? Nope, that applies only to itself, it's not a global effect.

No, I mean if I use two of the Auras which have lets say 24% increased AoE. I think that only one applies, not both added together (48%). Am I right?

" Each gem is separate. Active gems apply to nothing. Support gems apply to linked active gems. If an aura says it has 20% increased AOE, it is for that aura only. |

" If your anger aura has 24% increased radius bonus from levelling the gem, that means only that aura will get increased radius. It doesn't have anything to do with your other skills, including other auras. Wish the armchair developers would go back to developing armchairs.

Are you sure about that? I actually noticed some increase in Area of Effect to my Sweep when Haste or Vitality were active. Or am I imagining things? :\

" You are. Guaranteed :) Buffs are invariably phrased as 'you gain' or 'you and allies gain', if that bonus was global it would say 'you gain increased area of effect'. And just look at the magnitude of that bonus, why would you ever use increased area support or chase AoE nodes all over the tree if you could get it so easily. AoE bonuses are very scarce both on tree and on gear. Wish the armchair developers would go back to developing armchairs.
