Weapon Range for Flicker Strike?

Hey! I use flicker strike sometimes and have melee splash on it. It's fun.

I also have the +2 weapon range skill near the Duelist. I was wondering how this helps Flicker Strike? Can I cast Flicker Strike from further away? Also, does it increase the area range of Melee Splash??

I don't think it helps Flicker in any way, even if it did warp you to a place a bit further away from the enemy so you wouldn't get in his melee range nothing guarantees you wouldn't find yourself in range of some other enemy because of random nature of the skill.

And no, weapon range only increases area of skills that are specifically based on weapon range, like cyclone and vengeance.
