Noob Flicker Strike Question
|
I've never played flicker strike, so excuse the noob question. When I see videos on youtube of Flicker strike, the character darts all over the screen hitting a massive string of targets repeatedly.
Question is, is it possible to flicker strike just a single target within a mob of monsters, and then stop? Are they flickering all over the screen because they are holding the button down, or does flicker have a built in "hits a certain number of targets" that's manditory? I'm asking because I'm looking for a single target skill that hits hard, to proc the proliferation from a Herald of Ash set up. If I could target a single monster in the mob, flicker just ONCE, then move on to the next pack, that seems like a fast way to clear maps. |

that's what it originally does: flicker once. hit one target. cooldown before flickering again. to flicker multiple times, you need to either link in to Multistrike, or use its built-in mechanic of Frenzy-Charge cooldown bypass. meaning gain frenzy charges with the flicker or another skill, then hold the button to flicker repeatedly, expending the charges. to hit multiple targets in an area each time, you need Melee Splash. beware, this is extremely desync-prone.
