Shield BASH!

Hi! I would love to be able to hit with my shield, maby it's because i loved the Smite Skill in Diablo 2 and how you could boost the dps with the Holy Shield skill. For exemple could Tempest shield work like Holy Shield,:D just a Thought,

Shields have no damage unlike D2 had it. Shield charge charges with the shield forward for the stun and damages with the main hand weapon. Totally different.

" I agree with Dirk... ... But I'll add that I'd be ok with shield bash working from unarmed damage, more like face breakers. Something perhaps also scaled upwards by strength (as any melee damage would.)
But No Dual Wield Shields
I'd also like to point out that shield defenses can be huge, and that I'd be against having dual wield shield builds for such balance concerns. Because you know someone is going to (again) suggest that next. |

ideed it do not, but, what if their was a skillgem that gives your shield some dmg for a duration of time, baste of maby armor or life or as Gregoriel said, of strenght, :) would be an cool feature. but i dont know, maby the defences would overpower other builds.

yep, skills for pure shield attacks are missing. dunno what's hindering then.
