When should you use Orbs of Alchemy?

Surely, most of you will say that using them at end game is the most effective way, but should/can I use them for items +itemlvl 60?
It really depends on how wealthy you are I know some folks throw them around like they are pennys lol
I dont see any any key!
Often.

Scroll down a bit to see the rustic sash recipe. I always use it on a fresh charachter in the new leagues.
Im using them on amulets and rings ilvl 75+. Either im getting lucky with good ammy/rings or they are going for regal recipe.
Like with any other currency. They aren't meant for the common man to use, use them for trading. GGG logic, don't blame me.
I use them on lvl 50+ items because endgame to me is around end of lvl 60 and lvl 50 to 55 items get me there.

My apologies. You'll want to use the PoE wiki as much as possible. It's an incredibly good resource.

You can sell any white (non magical) weapon, a blacksmith's whetstone and a rustic sash to the vendor to get an Increased Physical Damage weapon of the same type. The level of damage is dependent on the rarity of the sash. So I use alchemy orbs on the sashes, do that recipe, and get back a solid 70-80% IPD weapon. Then I use orbs of augmentation to see what suffix it gets.

It's not the sort of thing players with much wealth will do but for self-found and races, it can be extremely valuable.

Just note that the level requirement is 18 to use a rare rustic sash'd weapon, so to speak.

^that. I'm pretty much a self-found player (at least I don't buy equipment, I don't mind trading for currency and lvl 1 gems though), and that recipe is outstanding for me. A physical weapon made using the magic/rare rustic sash recipe can go a long way for very little cost... they can pretty much suffice into early mapping.

Anyway, when it comes to using Alchs on gear, I tend to use them as early as Cruel, if I feel the need to replace my existing gear. I generally use them either on resist rings or gold or attribute amulets with maxed implicits, or 4L gear of my type. You know, if my existing stuff is getting outdated/outleveled, anyway.

But then again, I also tend to look out for ~10+% superior unid'd rare armor (or ~15+% superior unid'd rare weapons) and save them for the 2 Alch vendor recipe, so I tend to have a good amount at my disposal while leveling.

I often use them on 4L gloves. Good gloves are hard to find.
Otherwise on amulets to complete the chaos recipe.
Also in maps I carry a stack for white strongboxes and my characters tend to die right after I refill the stack so that depletes my supply pretty well.
When I kill a man he stays dead.
