[1.3] 2H Mace Ground Slam Marauder

Hey all, for the new league I decided to try out a ground slam marauder. This is my current thoughts for the build. I will update the build as I play it, any suggestions are welcome.

-No point in getting the Versatility node and the Accuracy and Reduced mana nodes (if you're going resolute technique).
-Instead of getting the unrelenting life nodes id use it for Path of the Warrior and/or Sovereignty. Reduced mana cost of skills does not equal to reduced mana reserved. Thus you might not be able to run more than 2 auras at higher lvls with reduced mana gem. -Mana flows, is not really a node that helps a GS build you can simply get a 1% mana leech item and you should be fine in terms of the mana dept. these are of course my opinion upon the matter keep us updated if you decide to run this. my build currently for a GS marauder (hardcore) is this thus far.

Tons of armor and life regen able to run Hatred/Herald of ash/ vitality not sure about the sustainability with 2% mana leech but should be ok Having buff effects can run Hatred/purity of fire/lightning puting you to 81 fire res, 80 lightning res think its easier to be flexible with dps/def nodes like this Issue that I see are inteligence and dexterity issues that need to be solved through gear I see astramentis as fast solution. " I feel like that build is missing out on a bit too many of the damage nodes in teh duelist tree. I definitely agree about the reduced reserved. I am just starting to use those types of skills, like grace/hatred/determination (only grace atm just got herald of ash gem). I have the wurm's molt so I get 2% leech for both mana and life. They just put the Purity of Flesh and Sovereignty so damn far away from the marauder tree :/ " I think the answer lies somewhere between these 3 builds. I have been racking my brain sorting though the tree to find something. I like the damage on this one for sure. I am going to try a few ideas and pop em. I think most will be limited to the 107 points since everyone seems to run oak for marauder (myself included). I like the Lust for Carnage node. I think with that you can drop a bit of life from the build and push for damage or the reduced mana. I think if you have leech gear plus that node you can focus on armor, damage, and then reach for sovereignty/purity. May have to kill the celestial and stun wheels... Maybe something like this. Mind you I still new to builds. Not so sure about this either still missing something. Its like its almost better to ditch the Oak and get the kill all for the extra points Let me know what you think, and if I went way of base somewhere. It has pretty good damage, decent armor, way good elemental resist, life recovery from hits/kills, reserved mana reduction.... have a look let me know what you think. " 124% life is way to low for 2h maraurder, regarding the mana reduction reserved with lvl 21 reduce mana gem you can run hatred and 2 purity this would be needed for atziri runs since I am watching the end game performance for other maps you can run hatred/vitality(or one purity)/ herald of ash. My maraurder with the build i posted has 7.5k+ HP and 64k heavy strike single target dps on 5l since 6l would require blood magic gem the solution for hatred/2purity would be alpha`s howl anyway which would allow you to sustain HS with 2% mana leech for sure and would put you on 82% fire res/81% lightning res |

I definitely see what you mean. I think I have short changed myself a bit here as I was only doing 107 skill points. If I am going to 100 and hopefully with my first Character, that is the plan. I am at 67/68 passive with plenty of refunds available so far. I think I can make some adjustments to crank it up. I may have to give up a bit here and there but that's a pretty solid build you have there. I'll have tinker with it later tonight after work.
I was thinking because of the Lust for carnage wheel and the leech from my belt that my health would be ok. 5% life leech on hit, 20 on kill, and 4 on hit. But with a low life pool, I suppose taking one or 2 good hits could put me under quick. I had a build similar with about 300 armor but after so many attempts I lost track of it. So, I tweaked this a bit. Its a bit closer to your build. I could ditch the Lust for carnage wheel and the diamond skin and that would give me another 5 points to play with. I think this is a survivable build. I kind of screwed myself but allocating points after the patch before really nailing this tree down.
Here is my current tree: Here is what I am thinking now: I wish I could see the final numbers like total health pool, mana pool, that sort of then. It's nice to see the percentages but being new, I'm not sure of base numbers per level to calculate with. I will have to see if their are any other build tools out there.
