+% Increased Cold Damage - For Spells Too?

Also, what about: +% Attack Speed +% Crit change/damage for X weapon (Because I tried the gem Hatred and it didn't increase my Freezing Pulse damage) |

I think Hatred buffs your physical attacks.

-Increased cold damage applies to absolutely all cold damage you deal, including spell damage.
-Attack speed affects only attacks and has no affect on spells. Cast speed affects only spells. -No buffs to weapon damage/weapon critical strike chance/etc will affect spells. They only apply to weapon damage, which cannot be spell damage. However, Hatred is not exactly in this category, as it buffs your physical damage, which is not the same as weapon damage. Some attacks deal elemental damage, and some spells deal physical damage, so if you use a spell that deals physical damage (e.g. Ethereal Knives), then Hatred will add cold damage to it. Freezing Pulse (look at it ingame or on the wiki http://pathofexile.gamepedia.com/Freezing_Pulse ) has the following modifiers: Cold, Projectile, Spell There is no "Attack" there, so it won't be affected by attack speed. +Crit Chance on a weapon applies to the attacks with the weapon only, unless it specifically states "+Global Crit Chance". Hatred, you need to read the description of carefully. You and nearby allies add x% of your Physical Damage as Cold Damage It doesn't mention if it's for attacks or spells, so it works for both. The problem is you deal no Physical Damage with your freezing pulse so hatred adds nothing. Hatred would work for Glacial Cascade for example since it's a spell that does both cold and physical damage. It would then add a % of the phys damage as extra cold damage. " incorrect. if it sais "critchance" in your passivetree, its always global. if its "critchance for daggers" for example, its only for ATTACKS with DAGGERS. http://pathofexile.gamepedia.com/Critical_Strike for reference:

Accuracy and Critical Strike Chance 8% increased Accuracy Rating 10% increased Critical Strike Chance 12% increased Accuracy Rating 8% increased Critical Strike Chance works for spells aswell. the accuray part is obviously useless for spells since they always hit and accuracy/evasion isnt calculated for them. |
