So yeah. Title sais it all. will we get equivalents of this skill for (phy+cold damage) and (phy+lightning damage)?
ofc the physical part shouldnt be stackable, that whould be insanely op ~hoping for Lavacoat and Stormmantle :3 This thread has been automatically archived. Replies are disabled.

They already exist (kinda): Molten Shell and Tempest Shield. Arctic Armour was added after those two to round off the trilogy.
Besides, GGG is against simple recoloring of skills, if more defensive skills are added they won't be like the ones we already have. |

" how is thempest shield in any way comparable to arctic armour? the point is damage mitigation against elemental damage, of which moltenshell and thempestshield do nothing against. arctic armour is great against physical damage AND fire damage equally, if not even better for fire damage because you can reduce it even further without much effort. |

" A similar thread was made some time ago, and Molten Shell and Tempest Shield are nothing like Arctic Armor. However, Righteous Fire is very much like Arctic Armor. Someone from GGG complimented me on how I compared RF and AA on being opposite skills that do two different things. A lightning version of RF/AA would be nice. Edit: Since RF deals damage and increases damage, and AA reduces damage and helps kiting, I'd like to a RF/AA buff that causes lightning damage, or any damage, to "arc" from you. Damage is based on the level of the gem, not the source of the damage. Last edited by Natharias#4684 on Dec 4, 2014, 5:06:09 PM

I like the variety that arctic armor/molten shell/tempest shield provide. Each one gives a different way of mitigating damage and has an offensive property (crowd control in the AA case). Making them the same would be somewhat boring so not sure it's a good idea. Besides you can always get more resistance either from tree or gear.
The above was my post from the same topic about 3 weeks ago. |

" puritys do exactly the same. so should they be changed aswell? and which of those will get the +1 max resist? i never liked that certain really interesting skills are only available in one element for us. stormcall for example. beyond monsters have a ice version of this that i whould love to use, but were only limited to using lightning with it, which i dont really want to gear a char around. |
