Can't Connect to Path of Exile

Im guess there is a patch or, maybe the servers down? if not then not sure why im having problems connecting to the server

Make sure you run as administrator. Also make sure that antivirus/firewall/security software and hardware is disabled. It's not "down".

Ive found if you just copied the old poe dir to a new build, you have to run it as admin to patch. That or fix the permissions, but im way too lazy for that.

Please try Drakier's steps. If this doesn't help please add " --nopatch" to the end of your Path of Exile shortcut target line. This should allow you to enter the game. Once you enter the game, then remove " --nopatch" and load the game normally.
