No Sound (Razer Kraken 7.1)

I use this headset exclusively (no speakers) and have no problems with any other game I play, except this one. All my drivers are up to date, not really sure what the problem is. Can anyone help?

did you try changing your sound device in the settings?

In the options it states that no sound device is detected. I'm running the game through Steam and have no issues with any other game. I tried the Steam forums for an answer to this as well, one person responded and said that PoE does not support Razer devices at this time, which seems unlikely to me.

try adding -swa to the "launch options" for Path of Exile

I use a razer kraken aswell but I don't experience that issue so that is kinda weird.
The only thing is that I need to have selected the headset in playback devices(right click the speaker in the left bottom area in windows) prior to starting the game up.
