Hearald of Ice + Culling strike?

Does this actully work?
I threw a culling strike into my tempsest shield / herald of ice link. The icons gained the culling strike letter and the description says they cull and mana reserverd went from 16 to 17 on each. However using incinerate i havent noticed any culling happening. Just did merc Dom 1 cast at a time, no cull =/ Last edited by wwwZugZugorc#3233 on Oct 3, 2014, 11:57:52 AM

" unless i am missing something herald of ice triggers when enemy gets shatered (below 33% health and frozen), culling strike works when enemys are below 10% so is sort of a waste. if you are using incinerate you need to link culling with incinerate not herald self found league fan

herald of ice adds cold damage to spells as well

Adding Culling Strike to Herald of Ice makes the explosion that triggers on kill to have culling, not your original attack.

" Pretty sure that the Herald of Ice shatter effect triggers when you kill a frozen enemy (regardless of their HP, they could have 100% HP as long as they are frozen). Then, this shatter effect does damage to surrounding enemies. If you support with Culling, this shatter-damage will have the culling effect. That means that if the shatter-damage hits a nearby enemy with less than 10% HP, it will be culled. |

Heralds modify your spell/attack damage, but that damage not do hits by itself. The only part of heralds that actually do hits and therefore can cull is explosion on shatter/overkill
