Sadima's Touch vs. Aurseize
Sadima's touch gives 12 to 16 IIQ whereas Aurseize gives 40 to 50 IIR. I see a lot of people recommend Sadima's but if I'm culling in a full 6-player party (+250IIQ) on maps with a lot of quantity (+100IIQ) then surely the small IIQ increase from 350 to 362-366 is inferior to the 40-50 IIR which works over the 350IIQ acquired from players/map bonus?

I'm pretty sure they changed the party bonus to be rarity only.

Party bonus was shifted towards rarity, it still provides an IIQ bonus also.

40/10 iir/iiq I believe party bonus. (or it's 50 I don't remember)
Also, sadima's poops on aurseize. Last edited by DestroTheGod#5470 on Sep 25, 2014, 6:16:13 PM

Note that bonus from maps is MORE, not increased.

Unless sadima isn't legacy, combined with other high IIQ items, there's no point to use it instead of the aursizes.
Even combined with goldwyrm isn't worth it, as the tradeoff of the potential IIR cannot be compared to the 36% maxed IIQ. Especially in a party it makes no sense at all, has some just for solo. If MF is the target, aurseize + sundance beat completely the current non-legacy IIQ setups. This is a buff © 2016

Super interesting graph on the topic. I'd take an Aurseize over the new Sadima's almost every time. But I'd go with the legacy ones when that's an option.

unless you have a ton of iiq and not much iir, 24% sadima's will always be better than 50% aurseize.

Actually, iiq is better. Since iir has diminishing returns, in a full party a caller really only needs around 200%. The rest is wasted. Better off with IIQ.
