Global Channels for Levelling?
Yo,
I was looking for an un/official list of channels people use for different purposes but surprisingly can't find any. If there is one, I'd appreciate being pointed in its direction. That being said, I'd like to propose some unofficial "Levelling" global channels. The idea would be something like this: Channel W: levels 1-15 (Beginner players) Channel X: levels 10-35 (Apprentices) Channel Y: levels 30-65 (Journeymen) Channel Z: levels 60-100 (Experts) The whole point of it is to give people chat groups of similar-level demographics. No real rules to it; if you're just levelling an alt & would like to stay in the Experts channel then you're free to. If you're levelling & would like to be in a channel where similar-level people are playing & trading, you can have that. FYI I'm currently on my first level 35 & don't play too often, so I'm sure there are other factors to take into consideration. I'm mostly suggesting this so as to open up item-trading between like-levelled players. If you may, please voice your support of this idea, & let's work out what channels we'll use. join global 1, it's always bubbling and you can always ask for help, advice, and make friends :)
Had to change signature because poe.trade listed thread from 2013.

I'd be happy for specific levelling channels to be initialised, but I don't think they'll happen "unofficially"...

" This new level of juvenile crap in global 1 has finally convinced me to turn off global chat by default. That, and the latest RMT site spam. Used to be one message now and then, now it's 20+ full-box-sized posts within seconds. (Yes, I can report and ignore, but it takes me out of the game flow). Ironic, since only a couple weeks ago I pointed out that global 1 is a pretty good place to ask questions and encounter a decent group of people. |
