Generosity with what auras for a Summoner?

Hey - I plan to be an 8-10 aura summoner. Never done summons or mass aura before, so that's why I'm doing it. My question is, I will likely have reduced mana + generosity in a 5L chest, what 3 auras should I have? Also, to do the build, I will likely need an Alphas Howl, so on the flip side, without getting the generosity buff, what 2 auras are good for the +2 lvl buff?

Generosity works with minions. Generosity buff is likely better, but I don't know the numbers.

I leveled up a generosity with my minion master, never used it. Probably never will. My minions do just fine without it. Perhaps if i ever actually manage to find high level maps i may reconsider, but i doubt that will happen.

i can only get 4-5


but i dont use it on mine and i can currently get through low 70 maps just fine in rampage


My gems aren't 20 yet so I'm holding off on going much further.

Doing generosity with auras you don't benefit from yourself, like Hatred sounds like a good idea in theory atleast, but getting gem slots enough to do everything you want can be tough...

generosity is not worth the massive headaches it causes when dealing with gem slots.

40% increased aura effectiveness at the cost of a gemslot and -100% effectiveness of auras on your is not a good sale ,

i dropped mine like a sack of potatoes and replaced with haste , now im faster , my minions are faster and get the benefit of my auras

low life builds tend to break the mold in every way imaginable , having more than 4 auras borders on the insane already

You don't use it on auras you need the benefit from (such as purites) but rather auras that you use specifically for your minions. So basically Hatred.

The slot cost is a hard sell though, certainly. Would require dropping something

doesn't change the fact that i need to sacrifice 2 extra gem slots and potentially an entire 4l / 3l just to put 1 or 2 auras on generosity while having it not effect the auras i want.

say you are running 3 auras purity. hatred and vit. that is a 4l with rm.

you want hatred on generosity?

well then that is a 3l minimum for your old auras and a 3l for just hatred. but in practical situations its more like 2 4ls. so you have to eat up two items worth to accommodate this gem.

potentially 100% loss in gem space for 1 gem is scary and the potential loss of a whole 4l is even worse.

all because you cant gain benefit from auras linked to it and thus need to move them off.

it is a space eating nightmare.


I would have trouble justifying it even if we could gain normal benefit from auras


another thing to point out is that of all the builds in the game , summoners are the one build that cant afford to frivolously waste gem slots. you need 3 slots just to run the quality of life skills ie bone, flesh and convocation. im not even going to bother including any curses or totems you might have wanted
