Qustion about 6 Linked Sockets recipe

Hello, I have a question about the Vorici, Master Assassin 6 link recipe. Can I use it on uniques like my shavs or do I have to just keep feeding it fusings till I 6 link it?

" It works on Unique too. Its a Press-Once-6-Linking option. You need to have 1500 fusings in your stash or Inventory for it at that moment. I Love This Game Now, Being a Summoner Hardly Associated with Desync ♫
