HC Marauder build

Hey, im looking for a Hardcore Marauder build, with tanky as a "main" goal.
Thoughts: shield charge would be a great and fun thing. a spell for a hard melee hit etc.

Well as someone who has played with shield charge a decent amount, I can say that it is fun as a single target stun and good if your melee trying to get hits on something without it hitting you back, however, if you're planning to use this as a technique to escape mobs I wouldn't recommend it.

Shield Charge is notorious for dsyncing and will most likely get you killed in fights like Vaal if you're using it to run away, you're much better off using Leap Slam for that purpose.

As far as HC builds go I'm not going to post up a passive tree setup and send you on your way because that really doesn't help you learn how to do that on your own, so instead I'll give you a general idea of what you should do when going tanky as a Marauder.

I would suggest going for max life/regen + max armor with w/e marauder build you choose, as well as peppering in some +all resists when you need them if your gear isn't to par. Now if you want max tankyness I would head from the marauder start down to the duelist part of the tree grabbing as many +chance to block nodes as you can along the way and ultimately going for the Iron Reflexes Passive in the endgame as evasion based armor gives a lot more than armor based armor. Blood Magic keystone could be something you could pickup on the way but ultimately you should really want to use mana endgame putting your main attacks linked to Blood Magic supports so that you can channel lots of auras and not have your life be affected.

As far as skills go just make sure you have one or two very strong single target attacks (Two if you want to interchange depending on monster your fighting) and one supped up AoE attack as your main, Lightning strike and Ground Slam are the best for this cause your not in the enemies face for combat.
