Anti Christian game content

Hi i heard about this game from a cool youtube video review so i wanted to check it out. it seemed fun but not long into the game, the 2nd stage or w/e its called i saw something that shocked me and angered me at the same time. There is a guy on a cross (crucified) with his guts ripped out hanging there in the same manner that is shown in Christianity with Jesus on a Cross. Why was this implemented? Isn't that a blatant mockery of Jesus on a the cross? I hope that the staff can think about why they implemented this and do something about it. Its not necessary and its the only reason why i promptly deleted the game from my computer never to return.

Don't want to offend you, but sorry: NO!
Every game, every movie, every book contains stuff that will offend some religion or other. We really shouldn't let that censor what we see and do. Do remember that JC wasn't the only guy they put on a cross... May your maps be bountiful, exile

Because that's what a dead guy on a cross looks like. Crucifixion is not limited to Jesus, it was practiced in just about every ancient culture.

So out of the 100's of other ways they could have designed crucified people to enhance the visual experience of their game they decided to design them in the exact same manner that which Jesus died on a cross and im out of line for thinking that when i saw it? please.
Naw thats messed up. Ive never seen this in a game before, it bugged me so im moving on.. this forum is for feedback and well, I gave mine. Peace |

Crucifixion has been around before Christianity existed.
There is no mention in the game of any real world religion, so any connection one could make is up to interpretation. I also find it odd that, of all the horrific things going on throughout the game, a reference to a major religion is where things get offensive. "I would have listened...
