Crafting ele dmg weapon

Hello there folks!
I am level 86 Scion and I want to craft new elemental damage weapon, but I don't really know, what is the best way to craft such one. I'd be grateful if you could tell me any tips for crafting! Currently I am using this weakling: |

Use a Jeweled Foil or a Fancy Foil as they have the highest attacks per second (1.70 base). Most important roll is the Increased Attack Speed %, so you will want to get tier 1 IAS% using Alts/Augs. If you can then Regal/Exalt flat elemental damage, that is the next best thing to roll. If you get lucky you can get the "of Celebration" tier 1 IAS% roll and an ele damage roll during the alt/aug phase.
But yeah make sure you have a weapon that is high enough in ilvl to get the rolls you want. Sorry I'm too lazy to look it up, but you can find it on the wiki by googling "PoE Item Affix". Cheaper to buy one than to craft it. How much are you willing to commit to the project? If it's one or two exalts worth, you should just yolo-chaos a good base Jeweled or Fancy is good advice. Alternate between two, only keeping the best of the two. If you dump 40 chaos on that, you should end up with one acceptable sword.
If you're planning on dumping 20+ ex on it, you should think about the alt/regal/exalt approach. |

" No. Get a ilvl 76+ base jewled foil and alt it till you get +27% atk speed = 2.16 atk per second Then its maybe worth ex. Really you can prolly get a really nice sword for a exalt or 2 since a lot of people arent playing ele buzzsaw anynore |
