Unset Ring Recipe

I don't know if it is common knowledge already....I have been collecting unset rings since the patch and have not found a single one worth a dang yet. But if you did not know, there is a recipe at Clarissa: for 5 UNSET rare rings, she gives you one unid rare ring. Just like the two-stone ring recipe. I had all 3 colors, so I am not sure if you have to have all 3 colors or not for it to work.

It works with every ring of the same type. Ring you'll get has the lowest item level of the 5 you vendor.

Unset rings are legacy, now right? It doesn't seem a wise idea to vendor them 5:1 like this...

EDIT: they are not legacy, I was wrong.

Hadn't found any up to now b/c I've mainly played lower level characters.

Unset Rings were recently added to all current existing Leagues. Unless you're holding on to the version with an Alternate Art or Voideye, there's not much of a difference to the ones in Ambush & Invasion.

you must not even play. They're dropping in the normal leagues along with the regular rings. The uniques are legacy.

They're not legacy, but the unique Voideye ring is.

OP, this works for every base type in the game. You can also vendor one of each Two Stone ring for a Prismatic. Another useful one is vendoring 2 Lapis/Amber/Jade amulets + a Transmute for an Agate/Turquois/Citrine amulet.
