Damage Scaling The Magnate vs Meginord's Girdle

Which is better for damage ?
Is there a point at which one becomes better than the other?

Since weapon seems to be a deciding factor

I use this

For most builds, Meginord's Girdle will be better. If your weapon is very slow and heavy, this might not be true (but then I'd go for a rare belt, instead).

The Magnate is better for Bear Trap / Ethereal Knives / Shockwave Totem.

I use Infernal blow.

So you are saying the weapon decides which is better ? ...

or a combination of both

The thing i did not understand was how much of the dmg difference that flat physical dmg on the griddle counts for in damage scaling.

Assuming you're a Life build, Meginord's is probably better in this case.
