Herald of Ash + Hatred + EE

If I use herald of ash along with Hatred, which one gets applied to the attack first? I wanted to use Elemental Equlibrium to burn enemies faster (+25% cold res, -50% fire res) but will it work?

Both at once. They up resistant to both.

Right, you would get +25% to fire and cold and -50% lightning on every hit, the setup won't work.
Wish the armchair developers would go back to developing armchairs.
