Pure Tri-Element-Trap Templar
Recently I tried a build with trap based Templar.
Templar have access to area damage and radius and can travel quickly to witch and shadow The objective of this build to combine tri-element spell gems+trap support gem. If needed drop some spell nodes and go for crit+multiplier Target damages from skill tree ------------------------------ +104% elemental damage (not specific to any particular element) +94% spell damage +32% skill area effect radius +20% area damage +69% trap damage +3 traps Target life nodes ----------------- My build is only 154% life at lvl 70 (did some mistakes) Can go up to 200% if needed at lvl 80 Target Keystones ---------------- Eldritch Battery Ondar's Guile Target Gears ------------ At least +50% spell damage Wand/Scepter/Dagger (one hand) At least +50% spell damage spirit shield At least 200 ES and 1500 Armour Target skill gems ----------------- 1.) 4L gloves -- cold snap + trap + cold penetration + multiple traps 2.) 4L boots -- ice nova + trap + inc area radius + cold to fire (amazing big circle) 3.) 4L chest -- fire trap + inc area radius + fire penetration 4.) 3L shield -- lightning trap + lightning penetration + Iron Will 5.) 4L helmet -- flame totem + fire penetration 6.) 3L sceptre (optional, not in my build) -- cast when damage + endurance charge + cast when stun Skill Tree ----------

Game play style --------------- Amazing Ice nova upto lvl50 then go for traps 60% life at all end of act3 kill all bandits Effectiveness/Pros ------------------- 9 traps at a time, box open, Amazing damage one shot all dead Cons ----- TRAP TRAP RUN RUN for bosses and let them follow you (sick) Worst case flame totem + fire pen (kind of good) 1 second to launch a trap (make sure you trap always and stay away) |
