No, leap slam has no duration.

You can speed it up considerably by having local increased attack speed on your weapon. It's actually multiplicative with you global attack speed bonuses, so 20% faster attack on your weapon and 50% faster attacks by passives is 80% faster leap slam, not 70%.

That's because leap slam has its own base attack speed, which replaces base attack speed of your weapon, but local mods still apply in usual way.

Does it mean that weapons own attack speed does not matter? Will Mjölner and Doon Cuebiyari have the same number aps and both will be faster than Marohi Erqi?

Yes.

And a base 1aps weapon with 50% local aspd will be faster than a 1.5aps weapon with 0% local aspd.
