Account Unlock Code saving location

Hello,

I was wondering how this worked. I used to not need to have the unlock code when I play from work or from home, but a few days ago, it started up. My geo-location has barely changed as I'm going from one city to another (1km), so I'm definitely not playing from an unfamiliar region as the warning says.

It's a low priority inconvenience, but I was just wondering if something stopped working in the past few days, like if account management isn't recognizing the two places I play in.

PoE stores that Country/Region/City information as your "location". If that changes, then it is no longer matching in their database, and you're now at a new "location" which requires an unlock code.

Chances are, before you had both of them match, where as now that your work is in a different city, it lists a different city in that tool.

If that information changes, you must unlock the account.

Well the thing is I was playing from home and work a month before it started asking me for the unlock code, so that's not the issue.

It always only asked me for a password.
