Keeping our microtransactions for all characters.
im not sure if the devs have answered this directly but why are we only able to use micro transactions on one item. for example if we buy the fireball enhancement, why are we able to use for every one of our characters. id really like to buy some enhancements but dont want to be limited to once character. One of my very few complaints of the game.

Effects from the shop can be swapped between characters and items, but can only be placed on one item at a time. So that means that only one character can use each effect at a time. The only exception are pets, I think- all characters can use those freely.
You can, however, take the effects off items at the end of each play session so you can use them on the next character you log in with. ;) This thread might help: " I'm not a n00b- I'm a Online Game Floor Examination Expert.

Yep, it's kind of annoying, but they make more money this way.

Prior to the community complaining enough to have it changed, it was one time use only. They decided to bend to the communities wants and allow for it to be used infinitely but once at a time.

in its current state it works for the players an advantage while still giving GGG a method of monetization that is aceptable and profitable. IE its fine the way it is and actuly gives players a reason to mabe buy 2 of said weapon effect.

yeah i was aware you can swap them. i should've been more clear. i play strictly hardcore and when a character dies. i can no longer use that enhanced skill on hardcore. which really sucks.

you can reclaim the effect and use it again. at least that works for weapons and armor.
Casual Exile.

yes you can just use reclaim on the skill gem and then re log into a hc toon then put it on a new one

Shouldn't you be able to still reclaim the effect from the character that got moved to default?
Edit: Too slow... and i actually find it nice, that effects are only per account and not per character. The way they changed it, is pretty awesome. Last edited by lysar42#1827 on Jan 28, 2013, 5:11:32 PM
