Projectiles don't go to mouse location while standing still.

Currently, projectiles don't go exactly where your mouse is, they're incredibly off and this is a big problem in a ARPG. I love playing this game, however, it's incredibly frustrating when I cannot hit a monster from a distance because the mouse aim for the projectiles are off when standing still. I hate having to account for how off the mouse is.

Watched the video, the main difference is poe actually takes into account the height of the character and the arrow follows a line along that height. It's just a perspective thing and shouldn't affect collisions with mobs at all(at least I never noticed it). If you check when you use PA, the clouds are actually centered on where you click, because they're on ground level. The initial explosion and arrow aren't because they follow that different height line to where you click.
it kinda sucks

Cause we as players want things to go where our mouse is, not to have to take into account everytime whether we are shooting to the left or up (on the screen) and having to adjust our mouse position accordingly.

The point where our mouse is should be where the arrow goes.
The thing about PoE is that it takes into account 3d environment and the arrow's flight arc.

I might be wrong, but i guess that's the reason why projectiles behave that way.

Imagine if the projectile were to go exactly where you point the mouse... in this argument, the ground. Ok, it shot it exactly there and it will go no further.

Now, consider this, you are standing at x,y coordinate, and want to shoot a foe at x2,y2 coordinate, thus, you click there, the arrow follows a path above ground to it's head.

all of this is imo.
Well all I know is that my shots miss most of the time due to this and I think it seriously needs to be fixed.
The reason you miss is because of your characters accuracy not because the arrow does not follow your curser, if you hover over the mob it will shoot at it, end of story. The reason it looks like it doesn't follow your curser in your video is because there is no enemy and it follows the hight of the character.

So there is nothing to be fixed here apart from you need to get more accuracy on your archer.
The terrible FOV/zoom angle doesn't help this issue. Great game, seriously questionable usability decisions...
I found another thread that brings this issue to light that is a much more in-depth.

A dev has replied in the following link saying that this isn't a bug. I'm giving feedback / a suggestion. As a Ranger this is an great inconvenience. They should make it so it shoots directly where your mouse is just like every other ARPG.
