Double Bladed Axes and Item Effects

Hey, sorry if this has been reported elsewhere but when I equip a weapon effect to an axe that has double blades, only the side that you attack with actually glows, while I know this is the "business end" of the weapon so to speak, it looks a little odd and would look much nicer in my opinion if both blades of the axe glowed!

Yeah there was no way to stick the effect on both sides sadly. This being the 1 weapon in the game with this problem I don't think our programmer wanted to spend the time building an extra feature around just it :P

So I guess its never going to get fixed? Or never say never? :)
you're a never

Ummm I have no idea. In future we may have many weapons with 2 sides so then of coarse in that case im sure tech will be added for that :P However as it stands no it wont happen. All depends one what we add in the future.

Case in point, my hammer which has two "sides" glows uniformly... just not the axe.
Hammers have heads, they're normally modeled as a big brick on a stick, but axes can be one sided. The game appears to treat all axes as one sided, because you only ever strike with one side of the axe.

Hammer has 1 effect curve for particles. Double bladed axe has 2.

We cant attach effects to two curves at the same time.
