Extreme lag and FPS issues since latest patch

I can't really go anywhere or do anything without gratuitous amounts of lag. It's strange because i wasn't lagging at all before patch 0.10.b or w/e that tiny one was.
I don't think it's entirely on my end because i don't really lag in any other game i play, but hey what do i know. I've also been experiencing some FPS issues. Mainly when in tight-spaced dungeons like the Vaal temple place in act 2. This also didn't occur pre patch.

I dunno. I'm mostly just mad about this because my first character who was also HC died due to lag/desync =( (csb)
Any help would be great. I wanna start another HC guy but i won't until i know i wont constantly lag.
