Gem recipes would be nice
We could use vendor recipes that take skill gems. I have tons of duplicates, and I'm not interested in trading. Right now the only vendor recipe I can think of creates a base resistance ring. I noticed you just added a recipe for maps, but I have far, far more gems than maps in my inventory.
Ideally we'd be able to sell five or so skill gems and get a new random skill gem of the lowest level. Since gems aren't identifiable, that might not be doable. How about: 5 skill gems = 1 Gemcutter's Prism. Good way to get rid of duplicates while improving the gems you want to keep. -1 there's no need for a gem sink, if it's not valuable then ditch it. -99999 to a recipe for any quality gems to gcp since there's already a recipe to get gcp from quality gems.

There should be a Mirror of Kalandra vendor recipe that requires you to sell 61 gems at once.

" Exactly--but there should be more interesting ways of "ditching" skill gems than selling them for a scroll fragment or a white ring. Skill gems are more special than random trash. " Who uses this recipe, though? Maybe if you happen to have lots of 20% quality gems lying around from your retired maxed out characters? Give me a break! In the morning

There can't really be a valuable recipe since how easy it is to bot skill gems from making new characters and killing hillock quest.

" Which is why I once suggested they use them to allow the creation of stat aligned versions (through vendor trades) of some of the normal currency orbs that are more likely to roll according to the color of the stat the gem used was aligned with. Sort of the same way chromatics are more likely to roll according to the stats of the item it is used on. Instead of being a trade for a item they now become an ingredient to help shave off some RNG at a cost of being less likely to get some mod combos that cross multiple stats. |

" Ah, that makes sense. Guess I'll hafta sell all my duplicate skill gems for scroll fragments! *sadface* In the morning

" No it just means not holding onto it. No one needs to have 10 double strikes and 7 ground slams and 15 raise zombies in their stash. In the same way you don't pick up every white blue yellow unique item, the same logic should follow for gems. If you don't need it and no one else does, don't pick it up. Also taken from poe wiki " Items of that category with a total of at least 40% quality. " ie. i have really bad but quality gems, oh look they have a use. |

Make the resist ring and onyx amulet gem recipes give a blue ring/amulet. Then the result can be regaled or vendored.
