Cannot load Twilight Strand

I haven't been able to play this awesome new game at all because the game won't download the first area, "Twilight Strand". The game sounds are in effect in the background though, meaning that my character is active (I can even drink potions with keys), but the loading screen doesn't go away, meaning I am stuck listening to ambience and my character drinking health potions and unable to play. What causes this kind of problems?

Im struggling with the same problem.
I have access to the passive skill tree, GUI there and the chat, but thats it.
Got also the "not showing water message" in the loggin screen.
