Map being rotated

So I think you have observed that when you die or log back in the map orientation will change which means now you have to again explore the whole areas again to find where certain door is.
Is it working as intended and why do this man. All this adds to the game is tedious grind and waste of time when you have already cleared the area.

I dont mind this on small maps, its OK but this happened with me when I was in act 2 trying to get into dark forest. The area is so big that it takes so much time just to get to the place where you died and when you see the whole thing rotated you just want to pull your hair.
Man that is so awful and I am not sure why is this there in the game.

Is there any word on it getting changed or is it going to be like this.

That is the whole point of having randomized maps.


Go back to whatever Blizzard game you came from if you do not like this.

If you get back to the map in 8 minutes or less it won't be reset. If you can't do that you can just run through the map til you find the next door. If that is to deadly make a portal in case you die. If you don't want to do that use this time to lvl so you won't die next time. You might not enjoy now but this makes grinding in merciless so much more enjoyable.

i, like you, was a bit thrown off by having to reclear areas over and over again, if i sat in town too long, portal expired, etc..

but its for replayability and farming.. if you dont want to have to clear through things over and over, make sure you find a waypoint to save your location, you will still have to clear the area after you zone in, but you get to skip all that stuff upto that, unless of course you want to go back and farm a bit.

thats just the way this game plays.. i seriously doubt that will change.

waypoints while not always, appear about every other zone. make sure you find it if you're going to log out or stay in town a while..

edit: oh yeah portals, (good point) drop a portal if you've been exploring a while, or heading into a boss area, or whatever.. that way if you do die, from town you can take your portal back to where you were..

Avoid dying and you won't have any problem.

Agreed, not everyone will like everything the cb players loved. Explain reasoning behind problem and let them decide if game is right for them

You are technically right, but please be a little less harsh. The happier the community, the bigger the community, the more revenue for ggg, the quicker and bigger acts 4-10 will be here
