Beta Invite Counter

Can someone please explain to me what the Beta Invite Counter on the main page is telling me?
Two names and a countdown that runs about 35 minutes - do the named people have that window of opportunity to do something to activate their Invite before it gets passed on to someone else or something? |

The first name you see, is the person whom already received a beta invite ( meaning that account is now able to download/participate in the beta). The 2nd persons name you see , is the person whom at the end of that 35 minute counter, will then be eligible to do the same.

basically, every 35 minutes a random person's account will become a beta account. no window of opportunity, you get an email saying "congratulations, welcome to the beta" and that's it, you're in. Good luck!
