Rolling socket colors on Uniques

So it's known that depending on the base quality of a piece of gear, the socket colors you can roll typically slant one way or another.

I've reached endgame and have settled on my gems and gear, but I need to roll BBRR on one piece... and since it's evasion-based, well, it's impossible. I've blown tons of chromatics and haven't even gotten close.

What I want to know is if Uniques have a chance to roll colors more equally. I have the following, which I guess I could try to roll this on, but I'd like to be sure before I just go waste more chromatics on it.

Uniques have the same chances based on the Base Item like other non-unique items.

Actually not true.

The stat requirements (dex=green, str=red, int=blue) determine the rates of socket colours. Hence low level uniques without any stat requirements can easily roll weird colour combinations.

(So if you could implement some low level unique into your gear/build, you could solve the problem probably.)
This thing took quite a bit:
