New to PoE how to play Shadow

Hi all,

Started this last night and already have a few questions.

As much as i love the game, im unsure how to play the shadow. He is obviously not a stand bang kinda character.

I assume as strength is to the marauder, evasion is the shadow?

can anyone throw some tips my way?

Build your Shadow how you want to, your restricting yourself by thinking a character is meant to be played x way. Yes the start areas have a general theme but that does not mean you have to stay in that theme. You wanna make a high HP Shadow you probably can(does not mean it will be as good as other builds though).

Remember any Character can use any Skill, Supports, and Gear provided you have the stats for it, and that you can go anywhere on the skill tree you want to within the limits of max skill points(although right now most should aim at using around 85ish points since we cannot hit max level).

Best tip I can give you right now is to look at the Skills Page of the site and figure out which ones you want to use and build from there(Note not all Class get the same Skills and Supports from quests so you may need to trade for STR skills if you wish to use them)
