Yellow item better than blue yet less dps

So I have these two item:
the yellow one obviously has more damage range yet it lowers my dps a lot. A guy on global said the 91% increase is already baked into the dmg range yet the only explanation is that it isn't so can anybody shed some light on this for me, please? |

read up on suffixes and prefixes on the wiki, many different one and for different levels and you can get vastly varying results depending on the mods you get and the build you have.

They are both 2h swords and I don't have any passives that modify elemental damage so I seriously doubt the 10 extra accuracy I get from dex on the blue is the reason why my double strike does almost a third less dps.
Oh well, I'll just assume the 91% increased physical damage doesn't show on the min/max damage range. |

those stats modify the weapon itself. physical damage scales better than elemental, unless ur going ele build.
