Increased Orb drop in maps ?

I was farming maps for last 2 months with my mf char - it was always worth it - but the wealth mostly camed from dropped items. After release I made a new char - stricty melee/high dps/no mf and every map I go I drop minimum 1 chaos or regret orb.
Thats great considering the fact maps mostly need some investement in orbs.
Is it just me or everyone ?

Maps have increased quantity, increased quantity means more items drop, currency orbs are items, therefore more currency drops.

But not that much more.

it isn't just in maps. i like to run catacombs, just because. its a decent currency run with a possibility of a large chest, easy, and lots of pots.
i've gotten all my exalts and eternals from catacombs and since patch i've noticed a higher drop rate - so far just of regrets, chaos, GCP and stuff but theres been a definitely increase.
picked up 5 chaos last night

I got 7 chaos orbs, 4 regrets and 1 exalted in two evenings. Thats a lot more than before.
From previous posts i can see more of us experience the higher orb drop - that was one of my wishes according release patch :)
