Uninstall not working on POE?

With the recent add of the game to the steam client, I decided to uninstall the game and use it through steam.
The thing is that on both my PCs the uninstaller didn't give me any error, finished, but the folder was still there with all the content. I had in both cases the unofficial defragmenter for the ggpk file, but I believe it shouldn't block the rest of the files from being deleted. IGN: ShadowCloud

the installer can only uninstall files which it installed or it knows about. just run the uninstaller then delete the folders. no big.

just because you could run the game, doesn't mean nothing was removed.
dxsetup is created by the installer. when you installed it, it probably used the client.exe and not the new exe. the shortcuts should be removed and cleaned up. as I said, that's fairly normal for a lot of installers. don't worry about it. run the uninstall, then delete the remaining folder if you want. |

I did delete the folder, but I just don't find it normal that nothing (or close to nothing) was removed...
