List of words that are not allowed in this game

Maybe there should be a list of words that are not allowed in the game.

I was muted for using words even though the contexts weren't racism nor sexism.

It was like once you type certain words in the chat and then you are punished no matter what, such as quoting a character id that contains a "G_y" word. Or using the "N" word when you mean my buddy.

The words themselves are not the point, what I would like to know is are there any other words I should not use no matter what?

Surprisingly, the word 'cheese' is banned from usage. I believe several members of the GGG staff are lactose intolerant and they felt the need to take it out on the userbase. Rather juvenile if you ask me. However, that is the way it goes.

You will not find a list of actual words but should refrain from using anything that contains insults aimed at other players, racial slurs, sexual slurs. If it is generally seen as an offensive word towards someone, you shouldn't use it.

TOS-
"
(b) Personal abuse, foul language, inappropriate subject matter, obscene, harassing, threatening, hateful, or discriminatory or defamatory remarks of any nature, as may be determined by Grinding Gear Games in its sole discretion, or Posts otherwise in contravention of any law or court order, are not permitted;

My beloved pets....
Dont be a dick and you wont get muted period.
You know... I don't get how banning words would do anything.

Anyone can just use whatever word they want in an offensive way.

For example, Carl Gustaf Mannerheim. It was his leadership that arguably prevented Finland from being occupied by the soviets. Basically a very respected person in Finland.
However, soon after a movie named "The Marshal of Finland" in which a Kenyan played the role of Mannerheim was announced, it became quite popular among certain internet communities to refer to all black people as Mannerheims. More as a joke, but still in a derogatory manner.

My point is this:
An "honorable" word became a derogatory term.

Should GGG ban me if I called someone a goddamn Mannerheim?

What then if everyone started using Mannerheim along with [Removed by Admin]?

If you ask me, holding some words in a special pedestal makes them special. Nobody would give a damn if the word [Removed by Admin] was used if no one gave a damn about the word itself.

Hi everyone,

I refer you to this post pinned at the head of the forum:

Just remember, hate speech does not need to be specifically targeted at a specific individual in our community or intended in a derogatory manner to be hate speech. It is, by its very nature, hate speech.

If you are not sure about the definition of hate speech, more information can be found here:

You can probably get away with something truly offensive such as "I'm glad your son died", but don't mention race or any other faddish subject. It's our holy duty.
Do you see the favoritism here?! Words removed from one post, but that dirty "Cheese" word was just left in Clives!

Domination/Nemesis T shirt

You are aware that the first sentence of your link contradicts what you said immediately before it, right?

I mean, I'm not going to defend using the sort of language OP used or anything. Obviously inappropriate language is obviously inappropriate. But if you're going to go all strict-definition-like, at least have your definitions right.

I've now tweaked it for clarity.

Your assumption is incorrect. I refer you to section C of the Forum Guidelines.
