Necromantic Aegis + Rathpith

Hi Devs

Got a normal Burning Miscreation versus Cruel Hillock and tested Necromantic Aegis + this shield:



Baseline: Unsupported Raise Spectre Gem without Rathpith

Run 1- BM kills Hillock in 28.50 seconds
Run 2- BM kills Hillock in 28.95 seconds
Run 3- BM kills Hillock in 30.90 seconds

Test: Unsupported Raise Spectre Gem with Rathpith

Run 1- BM kills Hillock in 29.43 seconds
Run 2- BM kills Hillock in 29.98 seconds
Run 3- BM kills Hillock in 29.75 seconds

I do not see any benefit of using Necromantic Aegis + Rathpith from an spell damage point of view, at least for Burning Miscreations, bug or intended?

I don't think you can up the burning damage via increase to spell damage, but only with increased burning damage mods. Afaik there is no shield with that mod so far, but you could use the Increased Burning Damage support gem.

Agreed with above - burning damage over time doesn't get affected by spell damage increases.

If it did, then RF builds would be much less viable!

its about the MAX hp , since
unrightous fire - is simmilar to rightous fire the dmg will scale from the hit points

the shield gives 10% incr hp

with necro aegis ( a necro skill point) u give ALL the shield bonus to the minions.
which in this case is 10% more health - in case of rightous fire it should scale with dmg
