Multiple accounts, same e-mail

Well I thought I'd be smart by creating a new account for storage. HMM well I thought, will it let me use the same email and new account name? Great idea! Created account, logged into both, transferred some items, went to bed. Woke up today and now i'm not able to login to my original account, only the 2nd one. I didn't realize it asks for email to login, or I would've used a different one. I read multiple things saying, you need to verify the first account. So I went and found the old old email to do so. The link tells me this is for an account that has already been verified. I e-mailed support to hopefully get some help sometime soon, but no reply yet. I guess my only question is, why are we allowed to overwrite our own accounts by using the same e-mail? Shouldn't there be some kind of error saying e-mail is already in use? I'm really sad that I can't play in my only free time right now. Hopefully I can get this fixed soon. Oh I also tried changing the e-mail of my 2nd account (which i'm logged into here with) hoping that I'd be able to use my old e-mail for the old account. It didn't work. Just says account not found. So my account is either deleted and gone, or just floating around out there somewhere not able to be accessed. PLEASE HELP!\

P.S. I promise I will just buy the 20$ tabs instead of using multiple accounts! Q.Q

Support is handling this. Just so you know, you can't make new accounts on an already verified email. You should get a second email account if you want both accounts to still work, and be sure to verify them both for PoE.
