Red flash on screen when taking damage.

When character takes damage, edges of the screen should flash red depending on how much damage you take. If you take 5-15% percent, flash should be subtle. More than 50% - intense and visible flash. You get the idea.

It will help players reaction speed and improves games feedback (gathering information from screen).

Moba games such as LoL and dota have this mechanic and it helps a lot and feels really good.

That depends very much on the character you're playing.

If my ranger gets hit, it's bad and so a warning *might*

My marauder practically requires getting hit, so having the edges of the screen flash constantly would be very, very annoying.
I should be optional of course.
But the light radius already decreases as you loose health and changes to red...

I am not sure what you are asking for ....

I have to agree with this. The HP Orb isn't subtle.

This isn't the case if you are outside.
This is an important matter and definitely something worth getting a look at.

There's no visual indicator when you take damage (apart from health globe going down...).

The ambient in PoE is dark which makes it hard to see if there's a sneaky monster on your back ruining your fight with some other monsters.
Specially if you're a ranged character. You pay so much attention on what you're attacking that sometimes you might not notice you're taking damage from another source.

So a new option on the UI menu that Turns On/Off the Damage Highlight feature would be awesome!
