Extended Digital Soundtrack (FLAC Format)or mp3

I am not very pc savy does this change the way ur game sound sounds.and not sure what download to do .thanks for any help

Download VLC Media Player, or Media Player Classic (MPC), I prefer VLC.

If you really want to go balls to the wall and make sure you can handle any codec, get the CCCP, Combined Community Codec Pack, as well as VLC/MPC of course (I like to have both as sometimes a specific codec works with one and not the other).

If you download the soundtrack, it is just an album of music, has nothing to do with when you actually play Path of Exile, the video game.

Most media players these days(and even years ago), already come equipped with codecs that are required to play the uncommon file formats(eg. flac, ape, m4a, ogg).
The days of needing to download those codec packs, are practically over. With the only exception if you are needing it for videos instead.
