Game closes to desktop without anything showing

I will be on PoE, in a map, changing zones, or sometimes just sitting in my hideout. The game will just instantly close to desktop with no crash popup or warning

This is what I find when going into Event Viewer

Does anybody know what is causing this?

I have an I9 13900k, 32 gigs ram, 4070 TI, and a 1tb nvme drive so I know its not from having an outdated computer. Drivers are all up to date.

See if the two commands on this page help;

This seems to have worked, tyvm!
Awesome! Glad I could help.

If the issue crops up again and those two commands fix it again, I'd start to wonder about the stability of both your i9 13900k and your RAM. Repeated corruption of Windows OS files would most likely be explained by unstable hardware. But hopefully it's a once-off and just a case of something going wrong during an update without being caught at the time that it happened.

So it started happening again. It only happens to PoE, nothing else, no other game or anything. I can be watching a stream/show/movie on my 2nd monitor with PoE open and the game will just close but nothing else ever skips a beat.
