POE2 CPU Lag and Crashes

Please help. The game is constantly lagging and crashes often since 0.3. Did not have these problems before. I have tried adjusting sound, graphics settings, shader cache size/clear etc etc. The game will run fine for a period, but it never lasts. The headaches are killing me please someone give me the magic fix.
This happens everywhere. Campaign and maps. I am not having problems in any other game. I have been playing other games to ensure this, and give my eyes a break. If I restart the game, it seems to help for a moment. Restarting my computer then going right in seems to be ok for a couple minutes but it never goes away. I have verified the integrity of installed files on steam. I re-installed the game. Shader cache is at 100GB. Not sure what else to try or do. Mate I appreciate the help.
I tried a second reinstall and for right now it seems to be working flawlessly. I used the Steam verify integrity feature before (before and after my first reinstallation)and it was saying everything was ok - but clearly it wasn't. I am not sure what could have gotten corrupted on install two times? But for right now we are cooking with gas again. |
