Blooming Field no boss bug

no boss spawned on the tile for my map, however the boss zone spawned, and a rare mob spawned inside
I went in to the boss area to kill the rare mob and the arena door shut, it couldn't open because there was no boss to defeat, so the door was locked and I had no way out, if I put down a portal to leave the map I couldn't get back to the centre area, and my mini map didn't let me tp to checkpoints

I had to get my partner to login so I could tp to him, and then reenter the portal
