Still getting the error about needing to do an update when there isn't one

Is there still existing DDoS problems?

Why am I still needing to verify my whole game after being told to do an update when there isn't any update to do?

You've not said whether you're posting about PoE 1 or PoE 2, you've not said whether you're playing on console (which?) or PC, if PC you've not said whether you're using the standalone game client, the Steam client, the Epic Games Store client and whether it's Windows or macOS...

GGG do not offer Technical Support; you can email techsupport@grindinggear.com to confirm. People - staff or otherwise - are not able to read your mind; you do need to actually provide pertinent information or nobody's going to have the first clue how to resolve or mitigate your issue.

I've been fairly consistently playing Path of Exile 1 through Steam on a Win11 box since 3.26 launched and I've not had any issues with Steam wanting to validate files prior to game launch.
