3-4 Month League Cycle Return
|
Please take the feedback that has been given to you by the people of the POE 1 community and go back to releasing content in the proper 3–4-month cycles. If this is not possible, then change to a 6 month cycle for both games. This hypothetically IMO should allow players of both communities (POE 1 and POE 2) to ping-pong back and forth.
Example. June 1, 2025 Path of Exile: Celestial Embers League New League Mechanic The skies above you give a dynamic buff or mob debuff (depending on what rolls inside the pool of say 20 different mods). Upon entering any zone or map, the environment changes (color of the bg, sky, some variable, similar to scourge) and buffs the player with something, or debuffs the player. New Endgame Pinnacle Boss Tal'azar the Sun God New Items Wings of the sun Offhand shield, has a 15% chance to block 100% of meleee damage and upon killing an enemy, their corpse explodes for 500% of their max health as fire damage (scaling with aoe). This league would run until December, and at that point a POE 2 league would be scheduled to start. Idk I'm just trying to contribute and shape into a process that I think would utlimately cause player retention for both games, we need a change to the current model I think that speaks for itself. ★ Forum Threads ★ ★ Unlock Sandwraith Kill Tracker #3461595 ★ ★ Deli Music Off #3450767 ★ ★ Bestiary QOL #3380585 (HAS BEEN ADDRESSED!!!! My feedback would be similar, though not identical.
Prioritise the released game with an established community. Anytime GGG experiences resource contention, it should be PoE 2 that gets pushed back as a result. They are - allegedly - creating a second game because they have the resources for both. Great. Prove it. GGG do not offer first-party Technical Support.
