Color flashes in pyrimid/waterfall cave

Sometimes, my screen will start flashing large amounts of color. Usually shortly afterward, the game will crash. It's definitely a bug with the skeleton's weapons rendering (because it moves as I do, sign of 3-D models changing).

Happen to anyone else?

Happened twice to me, seem to be somehow bound to party play and cave dungeons, but here I cant see a cause from skeletons: there are no in the graveyard cave I noticed it first.

This looks like overheating, but it could also be caused by a specific combination of monsters, players, or objects in the level - If you can get a /debug F8 screenshot, and check your card temperature next time this happens, that'll help us figure it out!
Balance & Design
I wish I could have gotten you a debug, I'll do what I can. Here's what happened to me. I don't think it was overheating as it's extremely rare I crash on this laptop. Never had one crash in PoE in probably 30 hours I've played it.

I finally got the complete amulet from the 3 trouble makers and went to the top of the pyramid. Activated the altar, and the door opened. Used it to go back to Twilight Strand. There's where all this happened.

I finally beat Hillock. Was funny he looked like he was swinging a humongous artiacting poly at me..

Made it to Encampment, figured loading another level might fix it. Nope. So I logged out and logged back in (didn't quit) to see if that would help. The game crashed outright after that with the Windows message about it crsahing.

I restarted the game and it was fine after that.

The only other thing I can give you is the Client log when all this happened.. it's below.

I have the debug informations included in the picture at the other thread; and my GPU temperature is never higher then ~70°C (with closed case, measured with MSI Afterburner OSD) which should be ok, and which never crashed the game beside this rare times.

-I never had it happen when playing alone, but never see influences of party play on the GPU temp.

-it happened just at the entrance of an area, when I dont expect actvity causing GPU heat, and its instantly gone when I leave the area - even if it seem to crash the client shortly after.

-as longer as I think about the two situations, laian may be right: screenshot is from church (where are skeletons), and the first appearance may have been in the waterfall caves (and not at the Graveyard Cave I thought to remember first) - also an area homing skeletons...

Those screenshots are exactly what I see.
How often do you faced that situation(s)?
Twice on my side, but I havent played in a party that much, lately - and I never run into it alone.

I game on this laptop all the time, I can't remember the last time i've had a crash or artifacting. Not saying it's not possible this was heat related, but it was a little coincidental that it happened to be moving to a new area after finishing ACT II that started it off.

After it finally crashed I restarted the game and jumped back in, everything was fine after that.
I got similar issues, also with sprites/minimap disappearing and large white areas. This however wasn't due to overheating (it doesn't get any warmer than 65C). I figured it might be a problem with things loading into memory. It usually happens to me when playing for a long time, so memory might be quite fragmented.
