Updated monster model and animations?

I feel like I'm going crazy but do some monsters have new death animations and new models?

-Small monkeys in act 2 have fur
-Snakes in act 2 curl up longer when they die
-Green golem bombs in act 7 have a circle and are more noticeable
-Kitava's herald's wings twirl in the air and then fall to the ground
-Many ranged attack monsters have better animations with winding up their attacks
-Monster projectile spells have this new trail effect
-Many monsters have more variety in the way their bodies lay on the ground
-Eramir's(act 2/6) hair looks different?

There's many more that I'm missing and forgot to keep track as I played along the campaign. It's hard to describe it but the monster animations seem smoother now, possibly with the addition of new and more frames?
