Free passive points for the first lvl 40?

After playing D4 I realized how hard the starting process for POE is as a new player

So suggestion to make the first 40 lvls to make respect free since it's smooth sailing after boss piety, doedre and malachai.

New Players
Pros-
Everything gets easier after those boss fights
If a new playing fails Brutus badly maybe they will farm prison for more gear?
Then again has a hard time against Merveil
Making the campaign extra long and tedious for a new player?
Flexible to try new builds
will be able to adapt points in act1
help with the struggling process and learning
they will probably use the wrong type of support gems making them do less damage
can experience different arc type
can experience with tanky passive points and dmg points early on came make a big difference


Cons-
Sucks after lvl 40 learning you will need regret orb for each points which are not easy to get
would make the early stage easy but will not help in the later parts of the game to respect points
Would not affect the economy because it would just be free

I would just make respecing free... yeah that's the change.

I don't see them getting rid of respec cost entirely, there should be some commitment to the build, otherwise you could change it every map to beat the mods.

But one free complete respec per character would be nice. This would serve dual purposes. For beginners it would allow them to fix a build they tried on the fly. And for the experienced player it would allow them to level with one skill and shift to another at maps or whenever.

Respec is a mechanic to slow down the inevitable normalization of the game should the player learn all there is to know.
